Kalama's Kuisine started in Atlanta, GA somewhere in the late 2000's. There was a good size Polynesian Community that always got together for BBQ's at the Park. I used to be the Grill Master for these events, if I wasn't playing basketball. From there it blossomed into working some street festivals and catering a few parties here and there.
After moving back to Hawaii, a lot of friends and family needed assistance with their parties. At first it was just to help, but it grew so quick that it was time to re-launch in Hawaii. Our official first gig back home was a Fundraiser for a friends keiki sporting club. Payment wasn't necessary but they did purchase my first banner (which I keep in my office till this day).
Fast forward to current operations, we cater any party, have a food truck and also do Private Chef work.
